Forecasts and product recommendations matter only if they hold up where the activity actually happens. Field Reports compare what My OWL products showed before a trip with the conditions observed on location.
The goal is not to prove a forecast right. It is to understand the difference, learn from it, and make the products more useful.
Capture the location, timing, activity, forecast, and product recommendation before the trip.
Go to the actual place rather than treating a nearby city or generic forecast as the destination.
Record conditions, terrain effects, clouds, wind, temperature, and other details that influence the experience.
Compare forecast and reality, identify useful differences, and feed the lessons back into future product decisions.
New Field Reports appear here automatically from the YouTube playlist, using the published video title and description.
